Configuring School Teacher

The teachers are defined by name. This is mainly an organization feature, but schools that serve lunch by class can benefit by having the Daily Report sorted properly. Every teacher has a status, name, email, Daily Report setting, and school.

Name

The teacher's name will appear in the Teacher selector on the order form and report filters. If you are using the Report Labels feature, longer teacher names may be truncated to fit, so try to not use more letters than necessary.

Email

This is the teacher's email address, which helps when an administrator needs to communicate with the teacher directly. It is also where a teacher's Daily Report is sent if that feature is activated.

Reports

Some teachers help get the students ready for lunch and need to know what their classroom has ordered. Instead of providing a login for reports, an automatic Daily Report specifically for teachers can be sent after a specific delay following the daily cut-off time.

School

If a teacher is created under the wrong school, the teacher's record may be changed. Note: If orders have been received for the teacher it is better to change the teacher's Status to Inactive and create a new teacher under the correct school. Otherwise, the report filters will not offer that teacher when the previous school is selected.
