Order Reports
Mealsite provides copies of every order received, but reports will be used the most during your regular operations.
Daily Report
This report accelerates your daily operations and enables you to receive orders much later in the day because of the efficiency gains. The Daily Report shows exactly which products have been ordered by customer, filtered by price levels, product types, school, grade, teacher, and sorted by the order that best fits your serving schedule. It can also be printed so you can refer to it on the serving line.
- Navigate to the Daily Report using the main navigation menu.
- Select the Date.
- Optionally select additional filters, such as Price Levels, Product Types, School, Grade, and Teacher.
- Multiple output options are offered.
- Screen or Print
This is suitable for viewing on a computer, tablet, or printing to have a hard copy. - Excel
This initiates a file download for a XLSX file, which can be opened with any spreadsheet application. - Labels
This initiates the generation of a label sheet. The output will align with standard 2-5/8" x 1" labels when printed without margins or scaling. If an order will not fit onto a single label, the order will paginate across multiple labels.

Scheduled Daily Report
You may have the Daily Report emailed automatically to one or more email addresses after the daily cut-off time.
- Navigate to the Scheduled Reports area using the main navigation menu.
- Select the Report Type to Daily Meals Report.
- Select the Report Frequency to Every Day so the report runs once every 24 hours.
- Select the Scheduled Time with respect to the daily cut-off time. For example, if your daily cut-off time is 7:00 AM, you could set your scheduled report time to 8:00 AM to allow for some last minute order adjustments. Note: If your report runs before the daily cut-off time, you will receive a report for yesterday.
- Multiple output options are offered.
- HTML
Embed the full report in the HTML content of the email. Note: If the email program in use with your organization does not have good support for HTML content, you may set this to Empty to reduce the email size. - Include Excel Attachment
Include an XLSX attachment of the report, which can be opened with any spreadsheet application. - Include Label Sheets
Include a PDF label sheet. The output will align with standard 2-5/8" x 1" labels when printed without margins or scaling. If an order will not fit onto a single label, the order will paginate across multiple labels. - Include Admin Links
Include a link to the administration backend, which will rerun the report with the same options.
- HTML
- Define the report options, just like running a single Daily Report (see above). Optionally preview the report with the Preview Report... button.
- Schedule the report.
