Mealsite Users

The Users configuration provides management for existing users of your Mealsite, creating new users manually, and offers the ability to reset passwords. In Mealsite, a User corresponds to a customer's login ID (usually their email address).

You should only need to create new users via the backend if you are adding an Administrator to Mealsite. Customers may create their own account by registering from the frontend of your store, which also requires them to agree to your service policies.

Passwords

A strong password is required for every user account. A strong password consists of 8 or more characters, letters and numbers, and at least one capital letter or symbol. Never reuse a password from another website.

Notes for User Logins

One user login should only be used by one person. Shared logins are not recommended.

Every user login has the ability to place an order from the frontend of Mealsite. A customer record for the user will automatically be created when the user loads the order form for the first time.

Administrators may place orders for themselves on the frontend of the store (as a regular customer) using a single login for the frontend and backend of Mealsite.
